Fresh from a standout performance at SXSW 2019, Linying now releases a studio-recorded version of her cover of Frank Ocean’s ‘Self Control’.

The Singaporean singer-songwriter turned global upstart first garnered attention with features alongside European house music titans (Felix Jaehn, Lost Frequencies), leading to a #1 on Hype Machine and over 50 million plays on Spotify.

She then began her solo ascent, with the release of her tender debut single, “Sticky Leaves,” which entered Spotify’s Global Viral chart and amassed over 5 million plays, as well as landing a sync on Netflix’s Terrace House. Her debut EP, Paris 12, followed at the tail end of 2016, winning praise from the likes of NPR, BBC Radio 1, and USA Today as it debuted at #1 on the national iTunes charts.

Linying is also in the midst of recording her follow-up to 2016’s critically acclaimed debut EP, Paris 12 – more information to come!
