The Alliance Française de Manille is celebrating its 100th year anniversary with an exceptional acoustic concert by French-Spanish artist Manu Chao on Friday, March 27!

Manu Chao and his guitarist Luciano Falico will perform an acoustic concert of French songs from the album “Sibérie m’était contéee”. Filipino singer, rapper and songwriter Quest will be the special guest performer of the event.

Manu Chao is a French-born musician of Spanish origin. He sings in French, Spanish, English, Italian, Arabic, Catalan, Galician, and Portuguese and occasionally in other languages. Founder of the band Mano Negra, he became a solo artist after its breakup in 1995, and since then tours regularly with his live band, Radio Bemba. He won the latin grammy for best alternative song in 2007 with “Me llaman calle”, and was nominated for best alternative music album and best music video in 2008 for his album “Radiolina”.
