Yoga, growing at exponential rate worldwide. An activity and spirituality that connects millions of people around the world. That within its self should be celebrated! Global Mala Project takes it one step further using yoga as a tool for social change, spearheaded in Manila by Teresa Herrera, Global Mala Project is celebrated all over the world to promote unity, awareness and fundraising towards the worlds most pressing issues.
The event happens simultaneously in over 150 cities around the world including – New York, Los Angeles, San Fransico, London, Paris, Berlin, Singapore, Hong Kong etc
Global Mala Project Manila will take place at The Blue Leaf Event Pavilion in McKinley Hill. A full day of movement classes ranging from all lineages of yoga, and non-traditional classes of drumming and Capoeira. Alongside talks on health, wellness, sustainability and mindful living.
100% of the proceeds raised from this event are donated to each chapter’s charity of choice that’s centred around the environment, women and children, and youth AIDS.
