After numerous and admirable releases for the past years, ALINEP releases a two-track EP to launch his new techno record label, Deepsomnia.

Entitled “Moving/Forward”, this EP promises to be a groover in your peak sets and strong performances. Huge drums, driven melodies with a dramatic finish is what “Moving” is all about.  Track two is called “Forward” and this piece is acid techno inspired and filled with sweet synths, driving bassline with a huge impact.

Deepsomnia was originally a track by Alinep that was first released in Funkfield Recordings in 2012 then re-released in Berlin with record label Love International in 2014. The track became a hit track and was played over and over by Richie Hawtin in all of his gigs in 2014.

In 2016, Deepsomnia hit the online electronic radio and joined Amsterdam’s one and only In Progress Radio and in 2018 became part of the world’s longest running online electronic radio station, Digitally Imported

“Deepsomnia” is a word that not only defines his style and sound but also represents his true passion of the music he plays, by which he has succeeded in becoming a DJ, Producer, Label manager, Radio Host and a Promoter.

Having started off towards the path of becoming a DJ, playing at small bars and lounges before earning club residencies, gave him the knowledge and ability to push his passion for his music work and his unique style of music blend, to earn him recognition in the underground music community globally.

Alinep’s musical imprint in his DJ sets and music production are very poetic and is rooted from deep house to techno, minimal to tech-house, Detroit to Chicago and the beat goes on and on defining his own club space. Being a resident DJ of the infamous Time in Manila nightclub, he has shared the decks alongside Darren Emerson, Nick Warren, Yousef, SLAM, Dave Seaman, Anil Chawla, Luke Fair, Jimmy Van M, Josh Wink, Umek, Joy Kitikonti, Timo Garcia, Nelski, Frank Mueller, Quivver, Xhin, Se- cret Cinema, Silicone Soul, Nadja Lind, DJ Bone, Ramon Tapia, James Zabiela, Guti, Dirt Crew, KiNK, Satoshi Fumi, Alex Flatner, Tigerskin, Martin Eyerer, Dubfire, Nic Fanciulli, Osunlade, Re.You, Kate Simko, Eric Volta, Ken Ishii, Evil Eddie Richards, Gabriel I, Kenny Glasgow, Djuma Soundsystem, John Acquaviva, Shaun Reeves, Marco Effe, Agent!, you&me and many more.
