Are You an Independent Musician? Here’s Your Chance to Perform at All of the Noise 2019!

Mynila Team September 9, 2019 Music & Culture

For the first time, The Rest Is Noise is opening its doors today to four Filipino music acts who will be hailed as AOTN Feature Acts and will perform at All of the Noise 2019 (AOTN 2019) as part of the Music Talks program on November 22, 2019 at Century City Mall Events Hall, Makati.

The Feature Acts will perform an all-original live set and sit down with our panel of music industry experts to exchange ideas, learn about how to make the most of their music, grow their audience, and everything in between.

“The AOTN Feature Acts is one of the highlights of this year’s event programming. We’ve had 30 pocket shows and featured at least 50 music acts from diverse musical backgrounds and cultures who were instrumental in helping us build this community over the years. Still, we believe there would be at least four acts from around the country who will surprise us and we can’t wait to hear from them,” said co-founder MC Galang.

The criteria for selection are as follows:

– Open to all genres; independent acts who aren’t currently signed to any major record labels in the Philippines or any record label abroad.

– Acts currently signed to a local independent music label qualify.

– Open to Filipino residents only, aged 16 years old and above. Interested applicants with member(s) who are between 17 and 16 years old must disclose this information when we reach out to you via email. They require a written and signed letter of parental consent.

Interested applicants may submit their application at ( starting today, September 9, until October 1, 2019. The Rest Is Noise will get in touch with the shortlisted applicants via email. The four winners will be announced on October 11.

All of the Noise 2019 will take place on November 22 to 24, 2019, which will focus on different music activities each day. The Music Talks (11/22) will feature a series of topics to be discussed by music industry experts from home and abroad, as well as performances from handpicked, up-and-coming Filipino musicians, the AOTN Feature Acts, which will open for submissions in September.

The Music Showcase presents critically acclaimed artists from the US, UK, Singapore, and the Philippines. All of the Noise wraps up the festivities with Music Market, where businesses, brands, entrepreneurs, and musicians can offer goods and services to music fans and enthusiasts.
